her heart was 
so weak
like a thin sheet of ice
just some pressure away from snapping into pieces

She didn't know
she could be
so foolish
like a child asking for ice-cream when he has a bad cold

She didn't know
she could be 
so hopeless

She didn't know
it was possible for her 
to be treated
the way he treated her.

Turns out 
he was right,
he showed it to her,
